Chemical
resistance
Resin systems are often used in very aggressive media and therefore have to offer good chemical resistance properties. Such requirements have to be taken into account in advance when selecting a resin system.

System dependence
Chemical resistance is related to the degree of cross-linking of a system. In most cases, the denser a system’s polymer structure of the system, the better its chemical resistance. For applications in aggressive media, such as brake fluids, hydraulic oils or fuels, a system’s chemical resistance must always be rigorously examined.
